BetterZip 1.7

I still have the problem that BetterZip requires always a password when opening any zip-file. For example, if that file was created in the Finder pull-down menu "create archive" without using a password (I use a German version of Mac OSX, so it could be that "create archive" has another name in the English OSX).
Any help is welcome,
