Check for destination files first?
I've been really pleased with BetterZip overall (and I wouldn't have registered it otherwise), but there is one minor bug / feature request that's been in the back of my mind.
I've noticed that BetterZip appears to extract files to a temporary directory and then move them to their specified folder (all behind the scenes, of course). In most cases, this is perfectly fine.
The niggle is that when the destination files already exist, BetterZip asks if I would like to overwrite the files (which is good), but only after it's already gone through the motions of extracting the files (complete with the progress bar and the like).
This behavior can be a bit scary in some cases when I'm dealing with large files that take a few seconds to extract. Supposing that I accidentally choose the wrong extraction folder (one that has files I don't want to overwrite) -- and I notice this only after I've clicked the "Extract" button -- I'm left in a state of mild anxiety while the files get extracted (or at least until I remember about BetterZip's extract-then-ask behavior).
Do you think it'd be possible to have BetterZip check for the destination files before extracting them to its temporary folder? That'd be really sweet.
