Keep broken files option

Hey there!

First i have to say this is the best app for os x i have encountered for a while! it has replaced the 5 or so programs i used before to extract various archive types. I love it, finally a good extraction program.

I only have one suggestion and that would be giving the option to let betterzip keep the files of a broken multi split archive instead of just displaying an error message. This is a handy feature that i used to use in Winrar and would really make the app perfect for me ;).

I am not sure whether it works in this situation, but you can try an "emergency extraction." Hold down Control+Option+Command and select "Emergency Extract" from the File menu.

Sorry for the late reply. The solution you suggst does not work. It extracts the file from a broken .rar archive but then as soon as the archive ends it deletes the file without any warning messages :S. Would really love to have this feature. At the moment i have to use unrarx which has a keep broken files option.

You can use the .rarrc file to keep broken by adding -kb to the switches. However, this will affect for every archive extracted so you will want to use the transcript window to see what's broken and then maybe delete those you don't want to keep around.
