Hide Folders on Flat List view

Hi,

I ususally order files by modified date, across multiple folders.
Usually I want to delete files older than certain date without deleting the folders that don't reflect the modified date of containing files.

Please please please please put this at the top of your priority list. It would make a huge difference for me for the same reasons stated by the original poster.

Also it would be nice to be able to sort by file type rather than just kind.

Ah yes, also an ability to delete empty folders, recursively going back up the tree until there are no empty folders left)
