Concatenation Not Working
The current version of BetterZip says it supports concatenation of split files.
Just recently downloaded a video from a newsgroup that was split into 200 files (video.wmv.001, video.wmv.002, etc.). Clicking on the first file, BetterZip opens and an error pops-up stating that the program "7z" unexpectedly quit. I then selected all 200 files and dropped them on BetterZip, but I get the same error. Using the Unix command "cat" in Terminal, I was able to merge the 200 files and the video works.
Any ideas as to what's going on?

What kind of Mac do you have and which version of Mac OS X are you running? How large was the file?
My setup is a Mac Pro Quad 2.66 GHz, 8 GB RAM, running 10.5.7.
There was actually 273 split files, each about 4.65 MB. After using "cat" in Terminal, the resulting video file was 1.19 GB.
Nothing suspicious here. I have just tried this with 360 split files without a problem. No one else has reported this problem so far, so please, if you come across this behavior again, let me know.
