Sometimes "File/Clean…" Doesn't
First of all, I LOVE BetterZip and use it often.
I frequently need to send files to co-workers who use Windows, and so use "File/Clean…" a lot. Sometimes, though, "File/Clean…" doesn't work.
I have a QuickKey macro set up to trigger the Finder's internal "File/Create Archive" command when I press a key combination. I then open that zip file in BetterZip and it contains both my Word document and a "__MACOSX" folder (as expected). In BetterZip, I then select "File/Clean…" and it often does nothing; the "__MACOSX" folder isn't removed. I then select "File/Compatibility Mode" and the "__MACOSX" folder usually gets removed then. Sometimes, though, it immediately reappears after it disappears...
I notice this most with zip archives containing a single Microsoft Word 2004 document.
Any ideas?

The clean function has changed in version 1.4. It no longer removes the __MACOSX folder but files and folders satisfying the patterns you configured in the Preferences window. Please see the documentation for a more complete explanation.
When you switch to Compatibility mode, do you do anything between the disappearing / reappearing of the __MACOSX folder, e.g. saving the archive, adding other files?
